We all know that toothbrushes should be thrown out after three months of use. But one mom from Cambridge, Ontario had a problem when she gave her 6-year-old child a Dory-themed toothbrush set. She thought that she was set for one year as there were 6 toothbrushes in the set. Boy, was she wrong. She found out that her daughter kept throwing them out too early and she was left with nothing after a few months. She started labeling the toothbrushes with their expiration dates after that and it worked like a charm!

You can even have a “currency,” exchanging each chore that they complete with a specific amount of time that they can watch TV.
