On the set of Stage Beauty, Danes began a relationship with actor Billy Crudup, which eventually led to their marriage. Crudup was forced to leave his pregnant wife since the romance had developed into a more serious one. What a terrible tragedy. In 2006, while filming Evening, Danes committed a second infraction by having an intimate relationship with co-star Hugh Dancy. This was her second infraction involving an actor. Crudup came out on top as the lone survivor this round! Danes and Dancy tied the knot in 2009, and three years later, in 2013, they welcomed their first child into the world.
