“Ma’am, you can cooperate or I will have to force you to come with me,” the agent warned firmly. Melissa realized that he was serious and, with no other options, she decided to do as he asked. After all, she knew she had done nothing wrong and she was sure that, once at the police station, they would be able to hear her side of the story and believe her.
