Back Into The Boat
It was at this point that Allan lifted the fox out from the icy waters and brought it back to the boat. The fox was still quite afraid of the humans and so moved quickly far from them. He huddled drenched and cold in a corner. It was obvious that the fox’s condition was worse than before, worrying the three friends tremendously.
Unanswered Questions
The cold wind tousled the fox’s drenched fur. Allan and Cliff prepared some towels to warm and dry up the poor animal, but they were afraid that they would be attacked. They wondered just how long before it would learn to trust them. They also asked themselves how long it could survive in these cold and harsh seas. They were surely apprehensive to find the answers to their questions.
