If your shoes are a bit too big for you, chances are they have a pretty uncomfortable fit and you may even get some blisters. You can deal with this issue by threading the shoelaces through the opposite extra hole. What this creates is a loop that makes the lock even tighter. Experts call this the “lace lock” or “heel lock”

A toothpaste tube actually has a colored block at the bottom. It is usually black, red, green, or blue and is actually more than an obscure aesthetic choice! Before we tell you what it is for, you should know it is called an “eye mark.” They tell the assembly line machine where to fold the packaging and cut it. Without “eye marks,” tubes of toothpaste might still be attached together, which would make toothbrushing much more difficult.
