Dave Mustaine
Metallica’s first lead guitarist was Dave Mustaine. He was born in the California community of La Mesa. Due to his drinking, drug addiction, hostility, and feuds with Metallica members James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, Mustaine was sacked from the band on April 11, 1983. Despite this, he had a successful career as a result of the band he established, “Megadeth,” where he was noted for both singing and playing fast, outstanding lead lines. Isn’t it amazing?!
James Hetfield
Here’s James Hetfield, speaking of James Hetfield! Hetfield, from Downey, California, is a guitar colossus. Hetfield is credited for developing the sound of “speed metal” and instilling an unmatched sense of wrath in the music business. In 2001, Hetfield went to treatment for drug abuse. Since then, he’s been based in Vail, Colorado.
