Orianthi
Orianthi Penny Panagaris is an Australian musician, singer, and composer who worked with Alice Cooper’s touring band and rehearsed with Michael Jackson for his ill-fated This Is It concert series in 2009. She was also named “2010 Breakthrough Guitarist of the Year” by Guitar International magazine. Carrie Underwood recruited Orianthi to join her band after she performed as her lead guitarist at the 51st annual Grammy Awards in February 2009. Following that performance, Michael Jackson’s management approached Orianthi and asked her to audition for the This Is It performances.

Nita Strauss
Nita Strauss hails from the United States and is a rock musician. She is the current touring guitarist for Alice Cooper and has a thriving solo career. Strauss began touring with her own band while she was a teenager, and she dropped out of high school in her junior year to pursue music full-time. Strauss began her career as a member of the Iron Maiden all-female tribute band The Iron Maidens, but she has since performed with a variety of rock bands, including Consume the Fire, Femme Fatale, and the video-game ensemble Critical Hit.
