Her Childhood
Paige was born in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, but spent her childhood in Monument. She used to practice gymnastics as a child, hoping to compete in the Olympics. Because of her gymnastics talent, she was able to get to the Elites from the sixth level. She was even invited to the well-known Karolyi Ranch. Unfortunately, when she was 12 years old, she sustained a knee-cap injury, which prevented her from pursuing a gymnastics career.

How She Become Interested In Golf
Her knee ailment prompted her to take up golf instead. Paige was bullied due of her hair problem, as previously stated. Golf became a much-needed refuge for her because it allowed her to be relatively separated from her peers. Paige was homeschooled and lived in both Scottsdale, Arizona and Monument, Colorado. This enabled her to practice golf, which helped her get a college scholarship.
