Now, Terri Garr is best known for playing the character Inga in Young Frankenstein alongside Gene Wilder. She also worked on Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Tootsie. In 2002, the actress announced that she had just been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. She has since gone on to become the National Ambassador for the organization National Multiple Sclerosis Society! In addition to this, she is also the National Chair for the society’s program called Women Against MS. She has largely retired from the entertainment industry since 2007.
