Who doesn’t look back at the 70’s with nostalgia? It was a period of political turmoil, true enough, though let’s not forget that this was also the time of video games, flower power, and those rocking bell-bottom jeans! Apart from all that, there is something else that we all remember with fondness. We are talking about none other than biggest stars from the decade! These lovely ladies were Hollywood actresses, famous models, and wonderful performers. We definitely can’t forget about them.

Linda Ronstadt

The musician Linda Ronstadt first made a name for herself after performing at the Troubadour nightclub in West Hollywood. Perhaps you know her better by her other monikers like “Queen of Rock” or the “First Lady of Rock.” Over the years, she was able to garner 10 Grammys and more than 30 gold and platinum albums. Sadly, she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease back in 2012. Her condition forced her to retire as it was making singing more difficult for her. In 2013, she released a memoir about her life and career called Simple Dreams: A Musical Memoir.

Goldie Hawn

Now, we bet everyone is familiar with this movie star. She got her big break after appearing in Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In, and it landed her parts in comedy films like There’s A Girl In My Soup and Butterflies Are Free. She might no longer be in her prime, though we will never forget her stellar performances in The First Wives Club, Death Becomes Her, and Overboard. She took some time off from acting during the early 2000s, though she has since made a comeback with the 2017 movie Snatched. Oh, and if you wanted to know, she totally approved the remake of Overboard with Anna Faris as the star.
