The cast of the show was introduced to the public for the first time in 2009. Despite the fact that the stars are real-life friends, the show does not depict the reality of their lives. Many of the events depicted in the show, according to extras and locals, were planned months in advance. They were practicing the walkabouts, according to a lawyer who lived across the street and claimed to have witnessed them doing so. Not only that, but it has also been reported that they reshoot the sequences from other perspectives. To put it another way, they have practiced all of the facial expressions and dialogue that we see and hear on screen.

However, the truth is that these women were already chosen by the producers prior to their appearance on the show. They instruct the ladies to repeat or emphasize their remarks in order to heighten the drama of the scenes. To make things even worse, the shop is actually lot smaller than the show would have you believe. Many people who go to the store to check it out are taken aback when they discover that this is indeed the case.
