We are also heartbroken to learn about this development. In their joint effort to assist couples in their hunt for the home of their dreams, a pair of Canadian brothers have teamed together. Unfortunately, there are some components of the show that are nothing but a hoax. First and foremost, Jonathan and Drew do not renovate the entire house, instead focusing their efforts on a few places that they have handpicked. Not only that, but certain moments are also reshot in order to inject as much ‘drama’ as possible into the film for the sake of the audience’s amusement. Last but not least, the couples decide to embark on a home improvement project because the brothers frequently show them properties that are out of their price range.

Anyone who watches this popular History Channel show would never guess that it is almost entirely scripted. It is still open and owned by the Harrisons, but it has evolved into more of a tourist attraction than anything else in the past few years. Because of Nevada’s strict privacy rules, celebrities no longer have to work conventional hours there. Additionally, the cast members have already reached an agreement with the sellers on a price point prior to filming commencing on the episode in question.
