Belly Curls
This pose may be cute, but it means that there is no good night’s rest for the dog. This is called the “belly curl”. The pooch sleeps on their stomach and their paws are either underneath them or at the sides. Their muscles are tensed so they won’t reach REM. Shy and gentle dogs commonly sleep like this.
