Single Father Couldn’t Help His Daughter, So He Did Something Unbelievable
Greg Wickherst, of Pueblo, Colorado, was the sole provider for his daughter Izzy. Greg planned every component of the event down to the finest detail. Everything was perfect, with the exception of one thing: he had no idea how to style his daughter’s hair. In the eyes of the public, Greg Wickherst has been branded “The Hair Dad,” and we would want to share his journey with you. Make sure to keep reading to find out how and why he came up with such a unique moniker. Greg was awarded primary custody of their three-year-old daughter Izzy after he and his now ex-wife chose to separate. Greg researched everything he could in order to provide his daughter with the life she deserved, but when it came to arranging her hair, he came up against an impenetrable brick wall. When he suddenly discovered that he didn’t know how to do it, he panicked. But, as he did with everything else, he resolved to take action to correct the situation. “I noticed a weakness in my parenting abilities and wanted to address it, so I asked for assistance,” Greg explained.
The Basics
Greg was employed as an admissions agent at IntelliTec College at the time of this writing. He had no idea how to style his daughter’s hair, but he remembered that his workplace had a cosmetology section, which he had used in the past. It appeared to be an excellent spot to begin his search for answers, and he took advantage of the opportunity. Eventually, he came into contact with a couple of students from the department and described his situation to them. It was them who offered to assist him, and he spent every launch break with them so that they could show him how to properly style a woman’s hair in the first place. And with that, he was no longer completely naive when it came to styling his daughter, but instead had a good basis to build on.
