Following a talk with Camden, Nancy determined that she needed to contact Camden’s father in order to share her worries. If she was serious about helping Camden, she had no choice but to contact his parents and request details about his personal life. It is never easy to accomplish anything like this. She sought up the young boy’s family’s phone number in the class database and then called the boy’s father’s number. The instructor asked the father a question that puzzled him so much that he asked the instructor to repeat what she had just said to him.

The Secret Had Been Revealed
When Camden’s father, Darreld, received the phone, he assumed his son had become ill, injured himself, or was in some other kind of difficulty. So, when the instructor revealed why she was phoning, Darreld’s father was stunned into silence for a time. Camden seemed to have exposed his father’s deepest, darkest secret. At this point, the tutor for the little kid was made aware of the issue. Following that, she asked Darreld the question he was hoping not to hear. What type of answer, if any, would he give?
