Campbell made sure that no one would question this because he made sure the plot of land belonged to him. We bet he wanted to ensure that people would no longer stick their noses into his business.

During the transportation of the plane, the wings were temporarily removed so that the aircraft could be moved into the deeper part of the forest. The wings were removed in such a manner that Campbell could easily install the parts once the plane was in the right position. Campbell believed that this project would just be a work in progress. However, he was able to turn it into something more after spending years tinkering around it.
