Campbell believes that he isn’t isolated from the world. It means he still does things that are normally done, like showering, shaving and cleaning himself, just like people in civilizations. His airplane home basically has everything he needs.

Campbell said that living in an aircraft has its own advantages. The airplane is made out of strong metal, which is stronger than wood. In his talk with Business Insider, he said that “Wood is, in my view, a terrible building material. It biodegrades – it’s termite chow and microbe chow. Or it’s firewood; depends upon which happens first.”
