When he was still young, Campbell had a knack for renovating old things and materials and creating something new out of them. His first plan for his 10-acre land was to build a home out of freight vans. At first, he thought it would be a wonderful idea to do so but his mind changed when he heard how another person created a unique home of her own.

A More Interesting Idea
Almost two decades after, Campbell found out about Mississippi native Joanne Ussery, a hairdresser who had created a home out of a Boeing 727 plane. Ussery purchased the plane after her house burned down. Because of it, she decided to recycle an old airplane into a functional home on a lakeside property in Mississippi.
